The Montana Angus Auxiliary has been 'Pulling for the Breed' for 50 years now. Plan on joining us for our 50th Anniversary Celebration Tea on Friday, October 15, 2010, at the Billings Depot, 2310 Montana Avenue, downtown Billings beginning at 3:00 pm. We will be honoring the ladies of the auxiliary via a short program, having delicious food on hand, a power point will be viewed, scrapbooks and other auxiliary memorabilia will be on hand to take us down memory lane. Come renew old friendships, make new acquaintances and celebrate the past 50 years and launch us into the next 50 plus successful years for the Montana Angus Auxiliary. You can RSVP to 406-588-3631 or just come join us on the 15th.
This above picture shows our completed Montana Angus Auxiliary 50th Anniversary Book and Montana Angus Auxiliary commemorative Irish cup with the Montana Angus Auxiliary's 1960 -2010 banner etched. The book is a soft-cover book containing 200 pages. It is filled with Montana Angus Auxiliary history – members' photos and stories from 1960 through 2010. A special highlight in the book is a section of the pages and pictures from the recently discovered 1960 Montana Angus Auxiliary Scrapbook, which contains the original list of Charter Members, minutes of meetings and newspaper clippings of events in the early 1960's. The book has a section with memories from each Montana Auxiliary President and also information and listings of scholarship winners and Montana Angus Queens, with photos throughout. A true tribute to the Montana women that have pulled for the Angus breed for 50 years! (Published by Ballyhoo Printing, Lewistown, MT, September, 2010). These books are for sale at $20 and can be shipped to another address as well for a gift. Download the order form here.
