This above picture shows our completed Montana Angus Auxiliary 50th Anniversary Book and Montana Angus Auxiliary commemorative Irish cup with the Montana Angus Auxiliary's 1960 -2010 banner etched. The book is a soft-cover book containing 200 pages. It is filled with Montana Angus Auxiliary history – members' photos and stories from 1960 through 2010. A special highlight in the book is a section of the pages and pictures from the recently discovered 1960 Montana Angus Auxiliary Scrapbook, which contains the original list of Charter Members, minutes of meetings and newspaper clippings of events in the early 1960's. The book has a section with memories from each Montana Auxiliary President and also information and listings of scholarship winners and Montana Angus Queens, with photos throughout. A true tribute to the Montana women that have pulled for the Angus breed for 50 years! (Published by Ballyhoo Printing, Lewistown, MT, September, 2010). These books are for sale at $20 and can be shipped to another address as well for a gift. Download the order form here.

Montana Angus Youth Scholarship
The Montana Angus Association and Montana Angus Auxiliary's creation of a $25,000 scholarship endowment within the Angus Foundation to establish the Montana Angus Youth Scholarship (MAYS) was based upon the two organizations’ shared goal to award one $1,000 scholarship to a student continuing at least his or her second year of higher education. The recipient of the scholarship must have at one time been a National Junior Angus Association member and must currently be a junior, regular or life member of the American Angus Association. The recipient must also be a resident of Montana and a member or past member of the Montana Junior Angus Association. The recipient must be pursuing at least his or her second year of higher education, as no graduating high school seniors will be considered. The scholarship must be applied to undergraduate studies and is applicable to any field of study. The Angus Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Program application will be used to select the MAYS recipient. Recipients may also receive other scholarships from the Angus Foundation or local, state, regional and national Angus related entities.
Application deadline is May 1. Download Scholarship Application. See the Angus Foundation for more details.
